About Me

Howdy! My name is Beatrix Mauro. I am a media professional based in Las Vegas, Nevada. As a transplant from a rural community in Southern Louisiana, I have spent my professional career exploring what makes Vegas's culture and community unique.

I'm particularly fascinated by digital culture in my writing, and I develop and produce podcasts as well as online written content.

I'm entering my senior year at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas- The Hank Greenspun School of Urban Affairs.
